How Does This Course Work?
ATH 327 Pokemon: Local & Global Cultures is a course you play like a game...or maybe it's a game you take like a course. Either way, you work your way through a series of modules, overcoming challenges, solving problems and completing tasks.
Every student chooses a character class: wizard, gamer or kenshusei. As you complete modules, you will rise in levels and unlock treasures that will help you in subsequent tasks. Each student must complete 12 modules--but which modules you complete, and which textbook you read, will be different depending on which character class you choose. This means that ATH 327 is a slightly different course for each character class!
You earn points by working your way through the modules, writing your book report and completing your final project. Each module includes three exercises, a quiz, a writing assignment and a creative project. As you play this course, you will earn points with each completed assignment. You can do as many or as few as you wish to earn the total points you need for the final grade you want.
